DOORLY, John (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly Roscommon) - 19th March 2024. Peacefully, at home and in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary and father of Michael, Chris, Owen, Richard, Fergus, Declan, Mary and the late Stephen. He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren Federico, Jack, Kate, Isabel, Sophie, Alex, Emily, Hazel, Brian and Heather, daughters-in-law Rita, Valentina, Sibéal and Niamh, son-in-law Fergal, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ofelia, Vanda, and all that cared for him. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home, today (Thursday) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 10am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to SVDP, a charity close to his heart. A life well lived and to be celebrated.
