WARD, Laurence (Larrry) of 117 Rathgar Road, Dublin 6 and formerly of College, Nobber and Flower Hill, Navan died peacefully at home on the 27th March, 2020 in his 96th year having maintained a constant and vigorous rapport with all those around him. He will be greatly missed by his surviving sister Kathleen Gillespie of Chicago and by Rose, Maureen and James Gillespie and by Rose`s husband Brian Doherty. Larry was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Risberg and Mary Jo Merrigan and is survived in America by his nieces and nephew Patricia Risberg-Mogridge, Peter Risberg, Margaret (Peggy) Petersen and Eileen Hilburn. Larry was reared by his aunt Catherine (Katie) Ward Rogers alongside her sons Tommy, Larry and Johnnie Rogers and was a constant source of laughter and encouragement to all the Rogers. His unique and colourful turn of phrase will always remain with his Rogers cousins: Oliver, John, Beth, Joan, Gabrielle, Jem, Patricia, Norman, David, Pauline, Catherine (Wollongong), Raymond, Jack, Thomas, Aoife, William, Emer, Nadia, Kitty & Darragh, kitty's husband. Larry`s burial was at Nobber on Wednesday, 1st April, 2020. A celebration of his life will be arranged at a suitable time.

Condolences to the Ward Family on the Death of Larry RIP. He was a regular at the 7.30 Mass in the Three Patrons Church in Rathgar and an absolute gentleman, and always fun to walk up Rathgar Rd with early of a morning. John O Connor .
