CONNOLLY, (née O'Higgins) (Bettystown, Co Meath and formerly of Fr Griffin Road, Galway and Portmarnock, Dublin.) June 1, 2019 (Wife of the late Harry Connolly - Retired SC); (Peacefully, after a short illness bravely borne), at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by her family. Pauline; predeceased by her husband Harry, father Paddy and mother Annie (nee Carney). Adored mother of Sharon and John Boyd and loving sister to Marette Gannon (U.S.A) and brothers Michael and Pat (Galway). Devoted and loving Nana to Daniel, Dean, Dylan, Alex and Andrea, sadly missed by son-in-law Peter (Curtis), daughter-in-law Jill (Barrett), sisters-in-law, Bernadine, Peggy and Bernie, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a large circle of friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Watson Funeral Directors, 9 Dyer St, Drogheda, today (Wednesday) from 4pm until removal to Church of the Sacred Heart, Laytown, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 11am followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Lung Foundation or the Irish Cancer Society.
