KEYES Monsignor Raphael Newtown, Bantry and Camdenton (Diocese of Jefferson City), MO. USA. - July 14, 2010 (peacefully) in the care of the staff of Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Brother of the late Michael, sadly missed by his loving sister Cait and brother Marcus, sisters-in-law Patsy and Glenda, nephew Ralph, his wife Eileen, grandnephew Michael, grandniece Rachel, his many friends and colleagues in Peru, relatives and his large circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral arrangements later, enquiries to Coakley's Funeral Directors - tel 027 50065.

Rafael: Papá, Hermano, Amigo</p> <p>Hoy tus hij@s con quienes compartiste en Marcona, nos sentimos muy muy tristes por saber que físicamente ya no estás con nosotros, pero también alegres porque compartes ahora la Resurrección de Cristo; queremos darte <em>gracias por</em> <em>todas tus enseñanzas</em>, <em>por marcarnos</em> <em>un proyecto de vida cristiana de amor y solidaridad con el prójimo.</em> Marcona te recuerda como referente defensor de los derechos de toda su población siempre dispuesto a poner el pecho <strong>siempre en defensa de la vida</strong> de sus hijos. Tu ejemplo de vida nos guia por esa opción preferencial no excluyente del pobre. Damos gracias a Dios, nuestro Señor de la Vida por haberte puesto en nuestro camino, tuviste ese andar profundo que sólo lo dan los grandes. <strong><em>Gracias Padre, porque nos formaste para la vida</em></strong>.
