A life well lived

So sad to hear of Father Hanson's death. 43 years ago he officiated at our wedding in St.Teresa's Belfast. He was warm, funny and truly special. He enriched the priesthood with his presence. We think of him often and now he is with God hopefully he will think of us.

Father Hanson

What a privilege to have had your presence with us for so many years in St Teresa's Parish. When you spoke about God and Our Lady, you spoke with authority, as it was so obvious you had a personal relationship with them both. You were 100% sincere, 100% dedicated, 100% loyal, 100% faithful. Your particular mission to the sick was so obvious in your attention to our Grandfather who died in 1979. On the eve of his death, you asked him to say Hi to your parents when he got to the other side. Please now say Hi to him and to my Dad now that you have yourself arrived safely home. You have been absolutely key to my formation in the Faith. "The Triple Holy God who gets so close to us in Sacrifice and in Sacrament" will reward you abundantly for your massively productive service of Him in your Priestly Vocation.

Tom McKeever on behalf of myself and all the McKeever Family, Gransha, Belfast

Father Fred

We are awful sad to hear of the passing of Father Fred. We are honoured to have known him and to have become great friends and neighbours of him and his loving sister Mary. Hard to believe that Mary is just over seven years gone. Father Fred always mentioned Mary in his conversations.

We have many, many fond memories of Father Fred and Mary in Knutsford Drive, Belfast.

God Bless to both, they will always be in our thoughts.
