CARBERRY Gus ( Baldoyle, Dublin) 2nd April 2016 unexpectedly. Devoted husband and best friend of Paula and loving father of Shane and Ailish. Gus will be very sadly missed by his family, his sister Colette, brothers Peter and Pat, mother-in-law Kathleen, father-in-law Gerry, sisters-in-law Anne and Mary, brother-in-law Gerard, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing today (Tuesday) afternoon in Stafford's Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon to Glasnevin Crematorium for a remembrance service at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Down Syndrome Ireland. What a sad day. Gus was a gentleman, an erudite scholar, a mischievous wit and a very good friend. He was also, most importantly, a loving husband and father. My deepest sympathy to Paula, family and friends. JM

Sorry to hear this very sad news we shared many happy times at college and at get togethers in Baldoyle. A man of principle.
