O'BRIEN, Dermot (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) - May 23, 2024. Suddenly, but peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Tricia and loving dad of Jacqueline, Sandra, Patrick and the late Martin. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, cherished grandchildren, brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Dermot will be reposing this (Monday) afternoon (May 27) from 3pm to 5pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Churchview Road, Johnstown / Killiney, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed on the Church webcam. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu of flowers, online only to the Heart Foundation. Rest in peace.
