McDONNELL (née O'Brien) (Bray) (Died October, 14 2012) - A year has passed since Dee left us. We have marked many occasions for the first time without her and her absence is sadly missed. Aeneas, Fiona and Sharon were overwhelmed by the love and support we received from all our family members and friends. Your kind words, cards, prayers, shared stories and memories have made us laugh and cry. We especially want to thank Fr. John and Fr. Gerry (Blackrock Clinic) for making the Mass a celebration of a wonderful life rather than a mourning of her passing. We also want to thank Dr. David Fennelly, the Oncology team and all the nurses who put so much love and compassion into her care, their efforts go far beyond anything that can be expected of them. We cannot mention the staff of Blackrock Clinic without a special thank you to Dr. Tariq who quickly became more than just her doctor, even today he remains a close family friend. Our gratitude also to Stephen Collier and his team for the professional and dignified manner in which they organised the funeral. It is impossible to mention everyone who has supported us through this difficult time but we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude for your kindness. The anniversary Mass will be held tomorrow (Sunday, October 13) at 10.30 in Holy Redeemer, Bray. Deirdre, Mum we love you
and miss you every day.
