à CATHAOIR - Brendan - On the First Anniversary (December 29) of our beloved father, we thank all who have expressed condolences and offered support since his passing. We are grateful to those who showed solidarity with our father during his illness, especially, his sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, former Irish Times colleagues, the congregation of the Holy Redeemer, as well as cousins and friends in Bray, Dublin, Limerick, Clare and beyond, in particular those who visited him in his final months. A special thank you to Dr. Tiernan and the nurses of the Nightingale Unit, Blackrock Clinic. Our loving father is forever missed and remembered particularly where he felt most alive, in the sea, hills agus ag an Aifreann Gaeilge.
