FENNESSY, Ignatius Fr. OFM (late of Dún Mhuire, Seafield Rd., Killiney, Co Dublin and formerly of Waterford). Franciscan Archivist and Librarian. Died 6th August 2024 in his 99th year, in the care of Beechfield Nursing Home, Shankill, Co Dublin. Survived by his twin sister, Mary. Predeceased by his brothers, Fredrick, John, Fr Richard OFM, Frankie and Tony; his sisters, Sr Elizabeth, and Terrie. Regretted by his many nephews and nieces. Reposing at Dun Mhuire on Wednesday 7th August from 4-7p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday 8th August at Franciscan Church, Merchants’ Quay, Dublin at 10.30 a.m. followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Welcome Sister Death.
