HUGHES (née O'Farrell) Athlone, Joan - October 18, 2011, Rindoon, Ardbrae Park (formerly of Ardagh College), passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Retreat Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Comdt. Paddy and brother Noel (Malahide). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved family, daughter Hilary, son Frank, daughter-in-law Andrea, granddaughter Amelie, sister Ann Clancy (Terenure), sister-in-law, Imelda, brother-in-law, Austin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Retreat Nursing Home today (Thursday) from 5 o'clock with removal at 7.30 o'clock to SS Peter and Paul's Church arriving at 8 o'clock Mass of the Resurrection tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery in Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, at approx 3.30 o'clock Family flowers only. Donations if desired to SVDP.
