SCOTT, Alexander Brian (Drumcondra, Dublin, formerly of Derry, Oxford and Bangor, Co. Down, Emeritus Professor at Queen’s University and member of the Royal Irish Academy) – November 16, 2018, unexpectedly and peacefully at the Mater Hospital, beloved husband of Margaret Byrne; very sadly missed by his loving wife, sister-in-law Elizabeth and her husband John Casey, niece and nephew Susan and Michael, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal on Friday morning to Corpus Christi Church, Homefarm Road arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. May he rest in peace
