CARSON, William (Skerries, Co. Dublin and Bangor, Co. Down) - On September 17th, 2023, most gently and peacefully at home, Bill, in his 94th year. Boatbuilder and Craftsman Supreme. Predeceased by his wife Mary and by his infant daughter Elizabeth. Survived by his daughters Violet and Mary, sons Willie, Jimmy, Paddy, Alan, Paul and Ned, their children, and grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Alan and sister-in-law Barbara in Yorkshire. Very sadly missed and mourned by his beloved partner, Ann Barror. Mourned also by his large, extended family, wide circle of friends and acquaintances and by his neighbours. Reposing at Duff Funeral Directors, Skerries today (Tuesday) 6-8pm. Funeral Service tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am in Holmpatrick Church, Skerries, followed by cremation in Dardistown. In lieu of flowers, donations welcomed to Skerries RNLI or Barnardos.
