<p>HOLLYWOOD Professor Donal (Dublin and late of Warrenpoint, Co. Down) - May 10, 2013 (peacefully) in the compassionate care of the staff of St. Luke's and St. James's Hospitals following a brave battle with cancer. Deeply missed by his wife Bríd, children Aoife, Niamh and Patrick, parents Patrick and Patricia, brothers Ciaran, Aidan, Connla and Niall, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends. Resting at home between 5pm and 7pm tomorrow, Sunday. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in Church of The Three Patrons, Rathgar followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.</p>

<p>my heartfelt condolences</p> <p>Its many years since I met Donal..the last time at Brendan and my sister Maria's wedding...but he left the imprint of a very kind and gentle being and his passing has moved me deeply. He departs this world too soon. His knowledge and compassion has helped many many patients through very rough times. He was a rock for many and what a sad loss he is to the world. May he rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to his family.</p>
