REDMOND Sheila (Cabra) - Sheila slipped away from us suddenly, quietly and at peace on Saturday September 28, 2013. She is sadly missed by her sisters Una and Aideen, her brothers Des and Colin, her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and even two great-grandnephews, her Redmond and Moore cousins. The family wish to express their thanks for all the Mass cards received, the lovely letters of sympathy, the floral tributes and to the number of people who called to Masseys Funeral Home. We greatly appreciate the support of all Sheila's friends from the Catholic Guides of Ireland (Dublin Diocese) who attended the removal of the remains and the morning Mass in such large numbers and formed a guard of Honour, Past Guide Members, her former colleagues from CIE and Iarnrod Eireann and the Retired Members Union, the Travel Group and her long time friends Una Barry and Deirdre Phoenix. Thanks to our kind neighbours and friends who dropped in for a chat and cup of tea with Sheila or waved to her as they passed. We especially wish to thank the dedicated Carers who looked after Sheila for five years, the staff at the local Clinic, at St. Mary's Hospital and our GPs, the ambulance staff and the medical staff of the Mater Hospital A and E Units. Thanks to Fr. Pat Carroll, PP and Fr. Tom O'Shaughnessy for their sympathy and support in our bereavement. Sheila's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Christ the King on Saturday November 2nd at 6pm, the Anniversary of our Mother's burial in 1966. As a sincere token of our appreciation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all.
