CUNNINGHAM John D (Rathfarnham, Dublin) who died on July 19, 2019. On John D's First Anniversary his wife Joy and his children Tracy and Vincent wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us at the time of our loss, visited the family home, attended the funeral and sent us so many thoughtful messages of condolence, flowers, Mass cards and letters of sympathy. We very much appreciate the kindness and support given to us over the last difficult year. Special thanks to the staff in St. Luke's Hospital, Rathgar and the wonderful staff and nurses in Harold's Cross Hospice who cared for John D bringing great comfort to us. We wish to express our gratitude to Fr. John Flavin who visited John D regularly in hospital, celebrated the funeral Mass and provided great solace to us. A special thanks to St. Mary's Rugby Club and Marie Hammond who helped us enormously on the day of the funeral. We wish to express our appreciation to David Fanagan and the staff in Fanagan's Funeral Directors for their guidance. Since it is not possible to individually thank everyone personally and Joy and John D have so many wonderful friends and neighbours please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our appreciation and gratitude. John D is much loved, hugely missed and lovingly remembered every day by his wife Joy, his children Tracy and Vincent, grandchildren Rachel, John, David, Ryan, Jamie and Christopher, in his son-in law Michael, daughter-in law Anne-Marie, extended family and great friends.
