McCANN (Joan) (Newbridge) (died May 4, 2004) - Joan's family would like to express heartfelt thanks to our neighbours and friends for the support and help received during her illness and at her death. Your prayers, messages of sympathy and your presence at her funeral was a great source of comfort to us. We would like to thank especially Fr. Joe McDermott P.P. and Fr. Ray O'Donovan O.P. for their spiritual support. Our thanks to the Nás na Rí singers and the Aquinas singers for their beautiful renditions. Also to Dr. Eamon Dillon, the home care team (Newbridge), the staff and members of the Wheelchair Association (Athy) and Dick Pearse (Undertaker) for their help and support. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude. Masses will be offered for the intentions of all. Joan's Anniversary Mass will take place at 7.30 p.m., May 6, in St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge.
