VICTORY Alan James (Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Sandycove, Co. Dublin) - March 27, 2014, (peacefully), at the Beacon Hospital, after a short illness. Beloved husband of Maree (née Gilbert) and devoted and loving father of Ralph, Christian and Maria. Pre-deceased by his brother Conall, sister Anne and granddaughter Louisa. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Matthew, Sarah-Jane, Juliana and Daniel, brother Ian, sister Madeleine, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal today (Saturday) from his home to the Church of the Holy Family, Kill Avenue, Dún Laoghaire arriving at 4.30 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Monday at 10.00 o'clock followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery. House Private."Jesus, we trust in You"

VICTORY Alan James (Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Sandycove, Co. Dublin) - died March 27, 2014. On this the First Anniversary of Alan's death, his wife Maree, sons Ralph and Christian, daughter Maria, brother Ian, sister Madeleine and extended family, wish to sincerely thank all those who attended his Removal and Funeral Mass, sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, letters of condolence and floral tributes. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. John Killeen, who was a great source of comfort and consolation to Alan and our family during Alan's illness. Thanks also to Fr. Fergus O'Connor, who ministered to Alan. We also thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Beacon Hospital, especially those who were so kind and caring to Alan during the last months of his life. Finally, we thank the many friends who supported us in prayer throughout Alan's illness and beyond. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions."Forever in our hearts".
