BARRETT (neé Beattie, formerly Clarke) Jean Rachel Pamela M.B.E. (former International fencer) - May 15th 2016, (peacefully) in her 96th year in the excellent care of the staff at Newtownpark House. Daughter of the late Major and Mrs A E Beattie; last surviving granddaughter of Sir Andrew and Lady Beattie (Fitzwilliam Square). She will be greatly missed by her daughters Penny, Sandra and Hazel, son-in-law Timothy, grandchildren William and Christopher, extended family and friends. Service of thanksgiving will take place in St Paul's Church, Glenageary on Friday at 4pm. Family flowers only.
