GRAY - Philip (Abbeyleix, Co. Laois)

As we lovingly remember Philip on the First Anniversary of his death, February 26, 2024, we, his family would like to acknowledge with gratitude the many expressions of sympathy and kindness we received on our great loss. We were deeply touched by the presence of so many at his funeral service, and by the warm memories of Philip shared with us by so many; former pupils and parents, friends and colleagues from his long service in education, rugby, cricket and community.

Philip was the best of humanity.

He is so fondly remembered

and deeply missed.

Philip and myself shared digs in Noel Mahony's House in Brooklawn as junior masters taking prep and games while at college. He was always a good and conscientious friend and colleague and I was incredibly saddened by his accident and now his death. We lost touch over the years but his memory is forever.
