BOYLE - On the first anniversary, and in loving memory of, George Boyle.

His wife Muriel, children Sandra, Karen, Sarah, Lynda, Claire, Adrian and Hazel, along with George’s extended family would like to thank everyone who travelled near and far to sympathise with, and to offer support to George’s family on his sad passing.

To all those who stood for hours in the pouring rain to wish our beloved George farewell in the shop he was so proud of, thank you all. To all of his colleagues at Boyles Hardware, thank you for your friendship, help and support over the years and especially for your preparation of the shop for George. He would have been so proud and appreciative of your efforts, as we all were.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who cared for George throughout his illness. To all the staff in the Palliative Care Unit of UHK for their support and care during those difficult days. Thank you all.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation.

We also

remember his brother Terence D. Boyle whose anniversary occurs at this time and all family resting with them. May they Rest in Peace.

BOYLE - George Francis Joseph (Seoirse) (Cabinteely, Dublin): On the First Anniversary of his passing on March 20, 2021, his loving wife Therese and all the family wish to express sincere gratitude to the many relatives, friends, neighbours, and colleagues at home, Rosslare, and abroad and all whose lives George touched in such magical ways, for their condolences, solidarity and sympathy extended to us all over the year. We thank those who visited our home, who attended or participated in his Requiem Mass in person or online, celebrant Fr. Aquinas and Carnegie Funeral Directors for such sensitive handling of arrangements. We offer heartfelt appreciation to those who made calls, sent flowers, gifts, or made charitable donations, and continue to provide emotional, practical and sustained support at this difficult time. Special thoughts to honour the fine people working at St. Vincent’s Public and Private Hospitals, and those who came to look after George at home. Their attentive care, respect, facilitation and warm connection with his wit, wisdom and engaging character helped ensure he was never alone or afraid. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. George’s Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 10.00am at St. Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, Dublin.
