SMYTH, (nee Ryan) Mary (Rathornan, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow) - November 16th, 2019, peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her parents Tim and Brigid. Mary, beloved wife of Jim and much loved mother of Colin, Laura, Barry and Sinéad. Deeply regretted by her sisters Ann, Phyllis, Dinah, Bríd, Celine and Geraldine brothers Christy and Tadhg, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Cremation tomorrow (Tuesday 19th November) at 10.30am in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. No flowers, please. Donations if desired to Éist Cancer Support Centre Carlow.
SMYTH - Rathornan, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. On Mary's first anniversary her husband Jim, daughters Laura and Sinéad, sons Colin and Barry, sisters Ann, Phyllis, Dinah, Bríd, Celine and Geraldine, brothers Christy and Tadhg would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. Your kindness, love and support has been a great source of comfort to us. We acknowledge with gratitude the care Mary received from Dr Tom Foley and Dr David Fennelly, the staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital and the Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team. A special word of thanks to Fr Tom Lalor and Fr Pat Hennessy for the beautiful service celebrating Mary's life and to Ciarán Somers for his music. We acknowledge the support from our wider community and friends who Mary cherished and thank all in Éist Cancer Support Centre, Carlow who continue to be a source of inspiration and encouragement. Mary's love of life and generosity of spirit continues to live in our hearts.
