THOMSON-MOORE Major Colijn Nelson Rodney IG (Retd), Barne, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, passed away at home - July 27, 2015, aged 73. Funeral Service on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 2pm in Old St Mary's Church, Clonmel, Co Tipperary. A Memorial Service will be held at Guards Chapel, London, in the Autumn.

I was your fathers batman, 1 coy Irish Guards, I will never forget him as he made me what i became in the Irish Guards, I was a young lad from Belfast, with no education, i ended top a Colour Sergeant, in The Irish Guards, Being awarded the LVO, BEM, and becoming a freeman of the City of London, I owe all this to your father, truly wonderful Officer, 2015 seems a long time ago but to me it just like yesterday, QS
