CANNING - William (Liam) October 16, 2025, (Malahide and formerly of Deanery St. Derry), Late of Eircom and Past Captain of Malahide Golf Club. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at AnovoCare Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Josephine

Canning and loving father of Séamus, Nora, Mary, Paddy, Nuala and Bairbre. Very sadly missed by his sons and daughters, daughter-in-law Rosemary, sons-in-law Paul, Conor, Shane and Mick, grandchildren Ronan, Hugh, Kevin, Nora, Conall, Paddy and Rory, their partners, great-granddaughter Heidi, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Portmarnock on tomorrow (Monday) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday (October 21) morning to the Church of St. Sylvester, Malahide arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
