BARNETT, John, (Dalkey, Co. Dublin and formerly Burnley). Beloved husband of June, dearest father of Carol and Sandra, devoted brother of Joyce in the UK, father-in-law of Daragh and Sandra and loved Pops of Craig, Charlotte, Cian and Conor, and great-grandpops to baby JJ (Jack John) - May 4, 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of Carysfort Nursing Home, Arkendale Road, Glenageary. Funeral Service will take place tomorrow Saturday (May 6) at 12 noon in St Patrick’s Church, Dalkey, followed thereafter by cremation committal service at 1:45 pm at Mount Jerome crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98. Really sorry to hear of John's passing, please accept my condolences. John was a great person to know and I personally experienced his helping hand and genorosity. He was a "mine" of information on mineral deposits, as on so many other subjects. He will indeed be missed. My thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
