PLATTS - Louise Clare (née Finnegan) (Hertfordshire, UK and formerly of Greystones, Co. Wicklow) - October 17 2020 at Heath House Care Home, Bushey Heath, UK. Peacefully after a long illness with dementia. Fought on her terms to the end, lovingly cared for by the team around her. Beloved wife of the late Dr Robin Platts. Very sadly missed and much loved by her son Conall Platts (and his wife and children) and her sister Everina Dell and her husband Jeffrey Dell. Private cremation to be held on 22nd October in the UK with a deferred memorial service planned for later in 2021, Covid-19 restrictions allowing. Donations, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Society (www.alzheimers.org.uk http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/).

I only just learned of Louise’s death. I have many fond memories of Louise both while growing up in Greystones and Woking in Royal City of Dublin hospital. Sincere condolences to her family. RIP Louise
