MEAGHER - John (Carlisle Avenue, Dublin 4). As we remember John on the First Anniversary of his passing on March 30, 2021, his mother Theresa, sister Anne and her husband David (Gavagan) and extended family wish to thank all those who sympathised with us. We were deeply touched by the many letters, cards, flowers, phone calls and the beautiful online tributes and reminiscences. It was sad that due to Covid restrictions so few people could be with us at his funeral Mass. We know many of his colleagues from the architectural world along with family members and friends would have liked to be there. The presence of so many outside Donnybrook Church and online for the funeral Mass was a source of great comfort for us. Our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for John in the Beacon Hospital. A special word of thanks to Monsignor Ciaran O’Carroll for the personal touch he brought to John’s funeral Mass. Also a thank you to David Fanagan and Fanagans Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
