NEWELL, Frederick John (Fred) (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – January 11, 2023, peacefully, in his 96th year, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Beloved husband of the late Anne, dearly loved Dad of Nigel and Hilary, much loved Grandad of Aron, Shane, Craig, Darren, Hannah, Josh and the late Laura and great-Grandad of Kayden and Harley, lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Service on Tuesday (January 17) at 11.00am in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. No flowers please.
