CONNOR Colette Mary (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14), Died April 25, 2018. As the First Anniversary of our mother's death approaches, we her children, Martin, Austin, Mary Cowley, Dermot, Miriam Armstrong, Joseph and Colette Cannon, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all our extended family, neighbours and friends, both here and abroad, for the love and support shown to us on the sad loss of our mother. We are very appreciative of all those who attended Colette's removal and funeral service, who sent cards, letters of sympathy and Mass cards and who have been so supportive of us since her death. We are especially grateful to all the staff of Applewood Homecare, Cristina Ciobanu, the Rathfarnham district nurses, Dr. Fred Shackleton, Our Lady's Hospice and St. James' Hospital for the wonderful care, support and attention they afforded Colette during her illness which enabled her to see out her final days at home in accordance with her wishes. A very special word of thanks to Fr. Martin Noone who provided such sensitive pastoral care to Colette and to Canon Martin Cosgrove for conducting a very fitting and beautiful funeral service. Our mother had wonderful neighbours, of long standing and a wide circle of friends, in particular many bridge friends, whose friendship meant so much to her and to us, over the years; to all we are very grateful. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this notice as an acknowledgement of our sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
