McGRATH, (née Buckley) Georgina (Ena) (Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly Glanmire, Co. Cork) February 7, 2022. Peacefully, with her family by her side, in the care of the staff at Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary. Beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted) and devoted mother of John, Barbara, Brian and Georgina. She will be sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law Tony and Sean, daughters-in-law Louise and Lorraine, grandchildren Andrew, Paul, Olivia, David, Katie, Ellen and Jack, great-grandchildren Eliza and Charlotte, extended family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.00 in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. For those that cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/monkstown. Messages to the family can be left in the ‘Condolences’ section on www.irishtimes.com. Family flowers only, donations, if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland (www.alzheimer.ie).

On Ena’s First Anniversary, John, Barbara, Brian and Georgina with our families extend our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss, sent cards, letters and messages of condolence. Sincere sympathy on the passing of Ena. She was a lovely person and deserved the long, happy and healthy life that was her’s. It was a great pleasure to know her.
