ARMSTRONG, - (née Moorhead), Meriel, Donnybrook, Dublin, in her 93rd year, at St James Hospital, on February 22nd, 2025 peacefully; daughter of the late John and Margaret, and sister of the late Joy, Mirth and Robert. Beloved wife of Victor, loving mother of Petrina, Sandra, John and David, sister of Gladys, mother-in-law of Andrew, Brian, Sue and Tracey, devoted grandmother of Chris, Debbie, Hayley, Sarah, Peter, Claire, Julia, James, Oliver, Lloyd and Finn, great-grandmother of Cillian and Eva, and much missed by a wide circle of friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Orwell Nursing Home and St James Hospital for their kind care and support. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Thomas' Church, Foster Avenue, Mount Merrion on Friday (28th February) at 12:30pm. No flowers please but donations in lieu to Focus Ireland.
