GILL (Barbara) - An acknowledgement of kindness shown. Her parents Bill and Margaret A. Gill, partner Ruth O'Dwyer, baby Stephen and all the family would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on the tragic death of our much loved Barbara on April 19 last, in Dublin. To those who sent tributes, cards and letters, said a kind word, called to our homes and helped with the huge catering, to Reverend Lynda Pielow and Reverend Olive O' Donoghue for their outstanding care and help through the difficult days and weeks and to Patrick Larkin, Undertaker we extend our gratitude. Heartfelt thanks to An Garda Siochana and to the medical staff at St. James' Hospital for the wonderful care and professionalism shown to Barbara and ourselves on that very sad day. We thank close friends, neighbours and extended families for their love and support and the staff and students students of The Church of Ireland College of Education for a very moving memorial service and tree planting ceremony. We have been greatly comforted by what has been written and said about Barbara. She was very special to us but we hadn't previousley understood how special she was to so many others in Ireland and across the World. Her dream was to help build a school in Eritrea, Africa and the many donations offered will enable us to fulfil this dream soon through the Self-Help Foundation. Thank you.
