ALLSHIRE, Arthur Gordon (Pharmacist, Founder (1964) and Leader of 7th Port Howth Sea Scout Group - formerly of Glasnevin, Howth, Bunclody and Glenageary) - November 17, 2012, peacefully in his 88th year at Brabazon House, Sandymount. Beloved husband of Freda (Peggy) Margaret Allshire and loving father to Zinda (Robin FitzGerald), Robin (Wendy Bickmore) and Andrew (Lisa). Sadly missed by his grandsons - Graham, Nicholas, William, Arthur and Oliver and his recently arrived great-grandson, James. Removal on Thursday afternoon from Carnegies Funeral Home, 19 The Crescent, Monkstown to the Victorian Chapel in Mt. Jerome Crematorium arriving for Funeral Service at 2.30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to either The Irish Cancer Society (www.cancer.ie) or The Alzheimer Society of Ireland (www.alzheimer.ie) would be appreciated. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Brabazon House for the excellent care and comfort provided to our father during his last days.
