EVISTON - The mother, sisters and fiancée of the late Walter Eviston of Muckross Grove, Killarney, Co, Kerry and formerly of Templeogue, Dublin, wish to thank most sincerely at their time of immense sorrow, the Garda Siochána of Cork and Killarney, Fr Seamus Nohilly, who gave Walter the Last Rites, the priests of Killarney Parish, Fr Kevin McNamara, Fr Liam Lovell, Fr Moran, Fr Roger Kelliher and Fr O'Neill of Terenure College, Dublin, who concelebrated Walter's Requiem Mass, Rev. Patrick Hewitt, Dunmanway. Special thanks also to Eddie, Joan, Patrick, and Linda Eviston of the Eviston House Hotel, the good neighbours of Muckross Grove, Kilcummin and Templeogue; the staff, patients and Friends of St. Anthony's Hospital and Day Care Centre, Dunmanway; the kind people of Dunmanway, The Ulster Bank of Dublin, Tralee, Cork and Killarney, the staff of New Street Post Office, Killarney, the Health Service Executive, Southern Area, Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee, Mercy University Hospital, The Irish Association of Directors of Nursing, the Community Hospital Matrons Group, Cork and Kerry; O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney, St. Mary's Cathedral Choir and soloist, Maura Reen, all the relatives and friends who travelled long journeys to be with us; all those who sent floral wreaths, Mass Cards, phone calls, emails from Australia, Canada, Italy, America, England, Scotland and Ireland, letters of sympathy, those who donated gifts to the Irish Seal Sanctuary; the Fossa Bridge Club, Killarney Bridge Club, the Crusaders Bridge Club, Terenure Whist Group and Prayer Groups. Thank you to University College Cork, Glenstal Abbey, Maria Immaculata Community College and Parents Association, Dunmanway and the Brogue Inn Golf Society, Tralee. Thank you to Dr Gary Stack, Dr Mary McCaffrey and Dr Tom O'Donnell for their kindness and concern for the family. Finally, we would like to thank the staff of Nat Ross Ltd., Monaghan Road, Cork who showed such kindness and compassion to Walter at the scene of the accident. A Mass will be offered for your intentions in thanks for your support to our family."These woods are lovely dark and deep
