HEMPENSTALL - Ann (née Branigan) (late of Raheny) June 7, 2020.
As we lovingly remember Ann on the First Anniversary of her passing, William, Miriam and Dominic, together with their extended family, sincerely appreciate the kindness and support of all those who sympathised with us on our immeasurable loss. The many cards, letters, flowers and messages of condolence were a great comfort to us all. A special word of gratitude is due to Finola, who gave of her time so unselfishly and was a great source of support and reassurance to Ann during her final illness. Sincere thanks also to Prof. Breathnach and the staff of the high dependency unit at the Bons Secours who took such good care of Ann at such a very trying time. We wish to thank Fr. Liam O’Cuiv who celebrated the funeral Mass and to Kirwans Undertakers who showed great kindness and compassion in looking after Ann and making all the funeral arrangements.
Ann was a devoted mother to William and Miriam, and wife to her departed husband Shay. The safety and wellbeing of her children was her main priority in life, and continued to be in the all too short time she shared with them. She was a very loyal and “go to” person to all those whose lives she touched and that loyalty was returned in abundance.
Ann was taken away from us far too early but will be remembered with the greatest of love and will remain our angel who will stay in our hearts forever. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.
