CANAVAN - Audrey Jean (née Morris) (Portlaoise). July 30, 2021 Peacefully with her family and friend Anna, at Tallaght University Hospital. beloved wife of Tony and darling mother of Karl. Cherished grandma of Eric, Ross, and Scott. Greatly loved by her daughter-in-law Denise, sister-in-law, brother-in-law. Relatives and a large circle of friends. “Audrey touched everybody who came into contact with her, she will be sorely missed” .Funeral service at 11.00am tomorrow (Friday) morning is St Peters Church in the Market Sq. Portlaoise. Followed by cremation.

CANAVAN - Audrey Jean (née Montgomery) (19 Colliers Lane Portlaoise) (First Anniversary, July 30) - Her beloved husband Tony, her son Karl and daughter in law Denise and grandsons, Eric, Ross and Scott, would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sent condolences, Mass cards, messages of sympathy , posted online, letters and flowers. To those who travelled long distances to be with us on this very sad occasion, and to those who called to the house offering their sympathy. We say a sincere sympathy. To Dr. Anna Gullane and her caring staff at Annebrook medical centre.. Thank you. Dr. Anna has been such a good friend in her professional capacity down through the years. Audrey really appreciated your kindness and help. A very sincere thank you to the staff of St James hospital , Tallaght and the Regional hosp. Portlaoise. For their unfailing assistance and help . A sincere thank you to the Staff of Primary Colours Hair studio. Audrey looked so much forward to meeting you every Saturday. A sincere thank you to Revd Janet Finlay and Revd Alex Porter for the beautiful service provided and being so consoling. Audrey would have been very proud. Many thanks to Shane Reynolds for providing the hymns and to Phyllis Clegg for rendering the sacred music. Many thanks to Avril Jestin for preparing the chuch for the service. Thank you also to undertakers Matthew Keegan and David Goode for their professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements. To the grave digger for preparing Audreys final resting Place. Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral service. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 numbers were limited which we regretted. To all our good neighbours and friends who were so kind and comforting to us over this time. Many thanks. To Anna Byrne her sincere and loyal friend over many years Thank you Anna. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually at this time, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. Audrey was a beautiful , friendly, kind and loyal person. She is sorely missed.
