McNAMARA, (Árd-na-Gaoithe, Clybaun Road, Knocknacarra, formerly of Shantalla Place, Galway) - 2 August, 2024. Deeply loved and mourned by his wife Rita, sons and daughters David, Shane, Emer and Maeve and their partners Mary, Shirley and Neil. Very sadly missed by his much-loved grandsons Josh, Jake, James, Zach, Noah and Lucas and granddaughters Lily, Ellie-Mae and Leah. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Francie and his wife Mary Pillion, nieces Fiona, Yvonne and Emma, nephews Ian and Gerard, relatives and friends. Reposing at St. Pio’s Room within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road today (Monday) 5 August from 5.30 p.m. Removal into the Church at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Gerry tomorrow (Tuesday) 6 August at 12.30 p.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. No flowers, please. Rest in Peace
