MURPHY, Alan (Brooklyn, New York and formerly Clontarf, Dublin) – July 28, 2019; beloved husband and best friend of Ciara, and adored Daddy to Saoirse and father to be of twin boys. Deeply loved son of Thelma and the late Neil Murphy, and much loved and admired brother of Kate. Sadly missed by his mother-in law Deirdre, father-in-law Irial, sister-in-law Róisín, aunts, uncles, cousins, godsons Tim and Brian, his many, many friends and KKR colleagues. Reposing from 5pm to 7pm today (Tuesday). A Mass to celebrate Alan’s life will be held in St. Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount tomorrow (Wednesday), at 10 am followed by a private cremation service at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital.

MURPHY Alan (First Anniversary) - Our darling Alan, so profoundly missed today and always by his wife Ciara, daughter Saoirse, sons Con and Tadhg, his mother Thelma, his sister Kate, and his extended family and friends. We cherish with happiness the many wonderful memories we have of Alan, his smile, his sense of humour, and his love of life.
