JOHNSTON - Michael Gerard (Grovelands, 15 Hatfeild Road, Margate, Kent. CT9 5BL and originally Moyrath, 20 Belgrave Road, Monkstown, County Dublin). Passed away peacefully on October 23, 2021 in his eighty-third year following a bravely fought illness. Darling husband of Iris (née Alley) and adored Dad of Andrew, Paul, Peter, Stephanie, and Tim. Much loved Father-in-Law to Sam, Sol, and Natalie and Grandad to Conor, Reilly, Niamh, Louis, Otis, and Jude. Sadly missed by the Johnston, Alley, Sothern and McKenna families in Ireland, England, America, Germany, and Dubai. A Humanist service will be held on November 9 at 3:15pm at Margate Crematorium and can be viewed on https://www.wesleymedia.co.uk/webcast-view. Login/order ID 112426. gjamrphu.
