SAWYER, (née Mahon) Dorothea (late of Butterfield Park and Kilmashogue, Rathfarnham) November 2, 2017, in her 92nd year in the loving care of the staff of New Lodge Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late William Spencer (Pat). Loving sister of Eileen and the late Dick. Adored aunt of Keith, Ross, Jean and Sandra. Fondly remembered by her extended family, especially Joan, Marcella, Beulah, Stan and Mark, her thirteen grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Service today (Saturday) in Rathfarnham Parish Church, Rathfarnham Village at 12 o’c and burial afterwards in Whitechurch Churchyard. No flowers please donations if desired to the Simon Community.

SAWYER, Dorothea (Rathfarnham, Dublin) died November 2, 2017. The family of the late Dorothea Sawyer wish to express their sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with us in the loss of Dorothea last year. Our thanks to all who called to the funeral home and sent cards and letters and made donations to her chosen charity and the many who attended her funeral. A special thanks to the medical, nursing and care staff of New Lodge Nursing Home at Bloomfield Care, and to Canon Adrienne Galligan and Canon Horace McKinley for their great support and cooperation in Dorothea's funeral arrangements at Rathfarnham Parish Church and Whitechurch Parish Graveyard. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude to all concerned.
