McCULLY, Norman (Clontarf/Terenure) March 10, 2017, (peacefully) at his home. Former president of Clontarf Rugby Club and beloved partner of Una Furlong, Deeply regretted by his sisters Audrey Dawson and Muriel (Poppy) Campbell, predeceased by his sister Jean Russell and his brothers John, William and Fergus, sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, Deeply regretted by a wide circle of friends including friends in Clontarf Rugby Club and the Royal Dublin Golf Club. At Peace. Reposing this (Tuesday) evening at his residence between 5.00pm and 8.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to Clontarf and Scots Presbyterian Church for an 11.00am Service, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St. Vincent de Paul or the Peter McVerry Trust.
McCULLY Norman, March 10, 2017 - On this the First Anniversary of Norman's sudden death, Una and his sisters Audrey and Muriel together with his wider family wish to most sincerely thank those who attended Norman's Memorial Service and funeral. Thank you also to those who assisted in so many ways to those who called to the house and to those who travelled particularly from the UK to be present. We wish to thank the members of Clontarf Football Club, The Royal Dublin Golf Club and the Bohemian Musical Society and all who sent letters and cards expressing condolences. We thank all who assisted at the funeral service and in particular Rev. Alan Boal, Rev. Cliff Jeffers, Msgr. Dermot Clarke (deceased), Margaret Furlong, Stuart Dawson, Frank Rossi and Paul Andrews. Please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest appreciation of your sympathy and support during the past year.
