Kate (Kitty, née Creed) beloved wife of the late Col. Jim Seward and mother of Mary, Helen, Jim and John. Deeply mourned by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Lying in repose at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O'Connor Ltd. Removal today, Monday at 7pm to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy's Cross. Requiem Mass at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road, Cork."The last of the eight Creeds

<p>A unique lady</p> <p>My sincerest condolences to Mary, Helen, Jim, and John, and to all Kitty’s family. Aunty Kitty’s combination of intelligence, elegance and determination was unique, funny and lively, and made her great company. She put up with many invasions of us young (Dublin) Creed’s as we explored mushrooming in the early mornings, noisy tin can and string telephone calls in the trees at the side of the house in Aherla, and tramping round the countryside, she was kind and generous and always welcoming.
