COFFEY, Ignatius (Patrick) (Stillorgan, formerly of Labasheeda, Co. Clare and New York) - November 16th 2023. Past Principal of Tallaght Community School. Peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary and loving father of John Paul, David and Mark. Very sadly missed by his loving wife and sons, adoring grandchildren Ali, Lara, Luke, Eliza, Lola and Jack, daughters-in-law Liz and Annelie, John Paul’s partner Marissa, Jack’s mother Megan, brother Dan, sisters Dolores and Nuala, brothers in-law Paddy and Richard, sisters-in-law Aida and Rita, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends in the United States and Ireland. Predeceased by his brothers Michael and Fr. John and his brother in-law Gilbert. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home tomorrow Wednesday (November 22nd) from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning (November 23rd) to Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am which may be viewed by following the link https://churchmedia.tv/church-of-st-laurence-otoole-kilmacud and afterwards at 12.15pm in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross, by following the link https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/ followed by cremation.
