CLAFFEY, Michael (Church Street, Athlone), - August 1, 2017, (peacefully), in Killarney surrounded by his loving family, predeceased by his parents Peadar and Breege; sadly missed by his brothers Seamus, John, sisters Mary (Fallon), Anna (Griffiths), Breeda (Rochford), Jackie and Therese, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, nieces, nephews, grandniece, extended family and friends. R.I.P. Reposing in The Strand Funeral Home, Athlone today (Thursday), from 5.30pm, removal to St. Anthony's Church (The Friary), Athlone arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'clock, followed by burial in Coosan Cemetery.
