WILSON - Kenneth (November 9, 2020), (Mount Merrion) - As we lovingly remember Ken, Vi his wife of sixty-five years and the family wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who were able to be with us on the day of Ken's funeral and also those who joined us virtually, due to the wonders of modern technology. We are grateful to Rev. Canon Gillian Wharton who officiated at the service. Also to all who supported us with cards and floral tributes, letters and phone calls, which brought us much comfort when we were unable to meet in person. We were blessed to have had Ken as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Thanks to the staff at St. James's Hospital who cared for him during the last three months of his life and to our neighbours who lined Mather Road and applauded Ken's cortege as it passed by. We hope that this acknowledgement from us all will be accepted as it would be impossible to thank everybody individually.
