DREW - Deirdre died on June 7, 2007 after a short illness. The amount of support and expression of affection and general kindness of you all has been extraordinary. We would like to be able to express our gratitude to everyone individually but this is going to prove impossible. Accordingly, we would like to thank all those who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy and flowers at the time of our sad bereavement. We owe a debt of gratitude to Prof. John Crown and doctors together with the entire nursing and domestic staff of the Cedar Ward at St. Vincent's University Hospital and indeed all of the staff of that hospital for the care, kindness and support shown to Deirdre and ourselves during her time there. We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to Fr. John O'Connell Parish Priest in Bray, Fr Brian D'Arcy, Fr. Brion Burke, Fr. David Halpin, Fr. Enda Lloyd Parish Priest, Greystones, Fr. Gerry O'Brien Parish Priest, Aughrim who celebrated her funeral Mass together with Venerable Archdeacon Edgar Swann of the Church of Ireland, Greystones. We would like to thank all those wonderful musicians who are our friends who played and sang at her funeral Mass for their wonderful contribution to Deirdre's memory and in honour to her. We are very grateful to Thomas Murphy and Sons Undertakers for their kindness, sympathy, sensitivity, understanding and assistance in Deirdre's funeral arrangements. To all of you who attended and assisted us at her wake and funeral, friends neighbours and relations from our extended family and those of you who travelled long distances both from home and abroad, we express our gratitude for your kindness, assistance and expressions of sympathy. We would like to thank you all for your continued support in our bereavement - Ronnie Drew, Cliodhna Dunne and Phelim Drew.
