ARRIGAN (Newpark Portlaoise and late of Cappoquin) - December 8, 2013, (suddenly), at the Ulster Hospital, John, (ex ESB), beloved husband of Rita and dearly loved Dad to Deirdre Pat, Damien and Nuala, father-in-law of the late Louise; deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Paddy, Billy, Jimmy, Martin, and sister Kathleen Leddy, aunt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughter-in-law Katherine, nephews nieces, grandchildren, Tadhg, Grace, Rory, Jerome and Finn, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at his residence from 2 o'clock today (Wednesday) with Rosary at 9 o'clock Requiem Mass at 12 noon tomorrow (Thursday) in SS Peter and Paul's Church Portlaoise followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery Portlaoise. House private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only, donations if desired to a charity of your choice."What survives is love"

ARRIGAN John (December 8, 2013), (Portlaoise, Cappoquin) On John's First Anniversary, his wife Rita, daughters Deirdre and Nuala, sons Pat and Damien, brothers, sister, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and extended family wish to extend our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised, comforted and supported us on the occasion of John's sudden passing. Thank you to all those who called to our house, travelled long distances, who sent mass cards, letters, phone calls, texts and sympathy messages. A special thank you to the Medical Team in Ulster Hospital, Belfast, and, the staff of CAB Newtownards for their kindness to John during his last days. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of deep appreciation and gratitude for all your kindness. The holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for your intentions.
