MURPHY, (née Palmer) Maura (Newbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Sneem, Co. Kerry) January 7, 2018 – (peacefully) in the special care of the Staff of Raglan Orange, Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar, and surrounded by her family after a long and happy life with her beloved Eamonn. Sadly missed by her husband Eamonn, daughter Orla, son-in-law Brian, the ‘adorables’ – her grandchildren Alex, Serena and Mark, brothers Willie Palmer, Mixie Palmer and sister Helen Palmer, sisters-in-law Kitty and Angela, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Fr. Patrick Palmer and sisters Philomena Purcell, Barbara Stockwell and Lil Gallagher. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04X446 (opposite UCD flyover) this (Tuesday) evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am at St. Conleth’s Church, Newbridge, followed by burial at St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge. “The beauty of the world hath made me sad”
MURPHY (née Palmer), Maura, (Newbridge and Sneem, Co. Kerry) Maura, who died on January 7, 2018, much loved and adored wife of the late Eamonn, sadly missed by her daughter Orla, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Alex, Serena and Mark, her brothers Willie and Mixie, sister Helen, extended family and friends. Remembered with much love. Orla and the family would like to thank all those who were so kind to them in their sad loss. Our sincere thanks to those who attended the funeral, sent Mass cards and expressed their support in many different ways. A particular thanks to the wonderful staff in Raglan Orange, Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar who took such good care of Maura during her time there and to the priests and support staff of St. Conleth's Parish, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
