JOHNSTON, Gordon Irwin (late of Brabazon House and Churchtown). First Anniversary of Gordon's death (August 19, 2009). Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Violet, his daughter Sandra (Sherwood), grandsons Peter and Dylan, his son Irwin, daughter-in-law Janice and granddaughter Victoria. Gordon's family would like to thank all those who supported and sympathised with them in their sad loss, attended the Funeral Service, sent letters and cards of sympathy and Mass Cards. Special thanks to all concerned in the gentle and devoted care Gordon received throughout his illness at Brabazon House and to the staff of Blackrock Hospice and Palliative Care Team, it was greatly appreciated. We would like to thank Rev. Vanessa Wyse Jackson for all her care and ongoing support. A very sincere thank you to Professor John Crown who took such excellent care of Gordon over a number of years.
