RALSTON, Gavin Pádraig (musician), (Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow and late of Rathfarnham, Dublin) September 23, 2019 (peacefully) after a long brave battle with cancer at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Beloved husband, father, son, brother and all round Rockstar. Sadly missed by his beautiful wife Sinéad, kids Meabh and Donie (Murray), his parents Seosaimhin (Ní Bheaglaoich) Gavin Ralston SC, Joanne, brother Aongus, nephew Séan, Muintir Bheaglaoich and all his many friends and extended family worldwide. Rest in Peace. Reposing today (Wednesday) evening at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road arriving at 11.50 for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Sarah Jennifer Knott Foundation.

Gavin was a warm, generous and talented man. It was a pleasure to have worked with him alongside my dear friend Thom Moore, also passed. I'm glad to have known him and grateful for our chats. My condolences to the family. Aminah Hughes.

Sorcha UÍ Shuilleabhai​n Nee Ní Chonchúir I knew Gavin when we were all young, he'd be in west kerry. Thinking about him today, I wanted to express my sympathy. What a pity he left this world prematurely. I hope you his family are doing ok.
